1/7 = Lab day; peruse articles; 3 topic questions/research questions (5 S pts) due at class end
1/8 = Lab day; find articles
1/9 = Working thesis (can be very basic at this stage) and 4 on-topic sources, the first page of each printed and stapled to the back of a revised topic question and possible answer (5 S pts) due at class end. 4 sources must come from JSOR, Gale, Knarf, or Google Scholar. 2 are required from JSOR. 1/10 = Creative Paper (50 F pts) due at class end, one page MLA format. When done, work on what is due on Tuesday BTB. What is due on Tuesday will be 2 articles you will use to back up your thesis. If you need to change your topic/thesis, do so over the weekend. You will be locked into your topic/thesis on Tuesday!
1/13 = Have 2 printed AND annotated articles with you TUESDAY stapled BY THE TARDY BELL! ). Annotations are NOT highlights. Cover page will have 2 MLA formated citations, arranged alphabetically, with a working title for your paper. Be sure to follow the citation format given to you in class on Friday 1/10.
